Barely thrown ‘em and haven’t swapped out the flat bearing yet but so far I like them both. Definitely think that shedding the weight on the final version was the right call though I’m curious how it would feel with SEs a touch heavier than the ultralights.
Also, I feel like OD recently has been making throws that play better with their flat bearings than previous releases. Not saying that these won’t benefit from centering bearings but just impressed at how well they play with flats. First noticed it on the Rev1.
Today: Markmont Blue Eyed Dragon strings and blue energy dome side effects. Not new yoyos just things I will throw around today. My mental state has grown pretty tense so my throwing has grown sloppier and sloppier.
Well, not really. Not yet. I occasionally practice switching hands with the trapeze and the basic 360, but that’s about it (apart from trying to do regular 1A with the counterweight, just to get used to the feel). But I’m not really into 5A just yet.
I ordered a spectraply blood cell from @Glenacius_K and (because he is independently fantastic) he threw in the popsicle stick knack ‘proto’ that I was gushing about! Also a scrap chunk of spectraply that I’m going to try and turn into a counterweight!
