What did you get in the mail for 2020/2021?

Ya Ive been trying to compare the two, and they seem extremely similar, is it really just that the Valor has 3 grooves in the catch zone instead of 2 (purely cosmetic)? I haven’t been able to tell if it’s different in ant significant way.

I’ll probably grab one if I see one come up here, just because . Plus they make a few colors that I really dig. There’s like a “wine” I’ve seen it in that is gorgeous.

Edit:. Pic to keep it on topic somewhat lol. YYE bag, and Duncan Yo-tility holster

@andy569 Made a YouTube video on how the Valor’s axle hole works for finger spins, I want one so badly now.

That Reaper rocks! Scored the green too.
@G2_Jake was right, “you’ll love it”.

That reminds me I need to make all of my YouTube videos private :joy: I already did it with a bunch of them a while back. It was a dark time

Anyway it’s just a gimmick, I wouldn’t use that as a reason to buy a Valor lol

It worked REALLY well tho.

Any insight on the matter, dude?

Is it really the same as the VTWO? OD doesn’t seem like a company that would release two of the same (for all intents and purposes) throws like that when they constantly pump out unique projects

If you’d like to send yours to me so I can test this conundrum id be glad to compensate you

Not until you consider the Kuntosh and Kuntosh 5000QV.

I think in both cases one could argue that the successor model was designed for more performance than the predecessor model, and that’s primarily what differentiates them.

I see that phrase used so frequently I feel like, and I’m really not quite sure what it means. From what I can tell it seems to refer to heavily rim weighted more v shaped, and possibly more stable.

But I’ve seen people refer to throws as competition/performance driven that are the opposite of those qualities.

Like I could see “gimmicky” yoyos being less “performance” based than something more standard, but I’d assume the Valor wasn’t made to fill any type of niche or whatever. It seens like they made it to perform as well as possible. How would another throw, not even the VTWO, but anything-shutter, banshee, Borealis- be less geared towards performing as well as possible?

Could u plz explain it like I’m a moron (hint-I am)

Yep, that’s pretty much it in a nutshell.

I’m going to nod and say I totally understand now, because admitting I’m still lost at this point just proves that moron thing even more haha

My takeaway is I need to buy a Valor. Thanks for clearing that right up, dude

Never played the VTWO but I really enjoyed the Valor, it was one of my favorites.

Vilmos did say though that the VTWO isn’t really supposed to be an upgraded Valor, but just something different, a little variant of it. But if I had to guess I would say the VTWO is probably a little better

I wonder who has this one:

The Valor never interested me that much, since I find it similar to the VTWO, and I already have one of those, but I’d love to have that Dark Matter one.

You and I always seem to agree.

I wish there was more than one out there.

I believe there’s some yoyos there underneath all that.
