It’s such a crazy design which is why I bought it. IDK how the heck they machined it to be honest. Its a bit vibey so if you want a dead smooth CLYW this isn’t the one. The finger grinds are and feel on the string are smooth though.
In terms of play I feel like it’s really nimble and it can handle anything I throw at it, but I’ve been out of the loop so take that with a grain of salt.
EDIT Heres a pic of the inside of the Bear Trap provided by YYE.
You’re right, man! I remember that time the price tag was too much for a student like me… Glad i got a chance to get it now…
Yoyojoker made an amazing throw, even compared to today’s standard…

A person who owns it told me that those are push-in caps. So where’s the break in the section? Is this image real or retouched?

They are, like many YYR models of the time for example, timeless objects. Simple and clean lines, excellent weight distribution. Precise and lethal like scalpels.
In a sea of stuff that with time will slip away from memories, these will remain eternal rocks!
I’m not sure, it’s from YYE so you would have to ask CLYW or YoYoExpert depending on who took and retouched the picture.

Thank you for your answer.
I am pretty sure that both of them read me, so if they want, they will give clarifications.
I was talking to a member of the clyw team about it, and actually that kind of one-body processing is quite unlikely.
We await further feedback.
The one on the left looks green. In all the other photos posted by Durfee it looks like aqua, which was a color the bi-metal styled WA was never released in for some completely inexplicable reason.
Couple of cheaper throws today. I haven’t thrown a Raider in years so I decided to pick one up. Also a Magic N-11 and a small pack of Snakebite Strings to try out.
