a good beginner 1a and 4a set
no joke though I do some times use the daydream for 4a
Exact thing happened to a wedge I got. It probably wasnt on all the way so I just unscrewed it and put it back together and than it was smooth
My replay pros had some that was caused mostly by the plastic caps. Fixed it with a tiny but of super glue around the edge of the cap. Still had some but not enough to distract or mess with how it plays.
I still say that Swamp Monster âcopperesqueâ colorway is one of the best new approaches in recent memory.
I absolutely agree! It also has a very premium feel to the finish as well.
Agreed! Kinda sad that I didnât wait for the 2nd run of the Coppers and instead snagged an All Black EDC but it plays sooo good regardless of colorway
2013 Shutter and World Champion 2019 WA. Love the extra weight on these guys, especially the 2013 Shutter.
Edit: added some weight pics for reference. Blue/silver fade is the current production Shutter and the Galaxy is current production WA
Iâm hoping there are still some of those World Champion Shutters in stock when i get around to justifying buying one. Either that or the new standard WAs get the rim weight increase.
I thought I heard/read somewhere that the 2019 World Champion spec would become the new production spec. Can anyone confirm or am I just sleep deprived?
Iâm the one that said this after Ben said that it was likely to me when I asked. But likely doesnât mean guaranteed.
Why does it seem every yoyo I see someone on the forum weigh is like 2 grams heavier than what the specs say?
Specs also vary from site to site. Iâve seen CLYW throws, for example, listed with different weights than YYE. Itâs kinda annoying but I am the kind of obsessive person who would be annoyed by that .
I think it depends on how you weight them. Noticed that my scale weighed my string at 1g, for example, so thatâll throw it if I keep the string on. Ano and plating can also cause differences in weight. At least here @YoYoExpertGarrett will confirm the weight for you if you ask and often shows pics of the yoyo on the scale so you can see how he does it.
Also it seems like YYF made some tweaks to the OG Shutter and itâs just not well publicized. Pretty sure the weight on the YYE page for the Shutter still has the original run weight. Donât think thatâs as common though.
I just use the specs on YYE if theyâre available. I know how they do it and I trust them to be consistent. Idk how ârightâ they are vs, say, the manufacturersâ listed specs when available but since I trust the methodology to be consistently applied, itâs useful for comparing throws.
So for the first time in a very long time, it looks like my latest yoyo package from YYE was stolen from my front door. FedEx marked it as delivered âAt Front Doorâ, but it is not there. Iâve not known FedEx to play games with the delivery status the way the USPS does here in Los Angeles, and when they say they left it at my front door I believe them.
The only thing I can do is report it to the apartment management and make an effort to have everything sent to my workplace from now on. They installed secure parcel lockers at my apartment complex a couple of years back and they are great, but there are only so many lockers, and when they get full, carriers just leave packages at peopleâs doors instead.
And Iâm not the only one who is missing packages lately in my apartment complex. I am going to try and change my address for when G2 Jake sends out my TiShee because thatâs one yoyo I really donât want getting stolen.
Aw man that sucks and yeah you definitely want that titanium going to your work now!
Contact FedEx and yoyoexpert as well. USPS also has options on there website for special requests. If FedEx does the same perhaps you could ask em to hold it in the post office if the lockers are full.
Claim to FedExâŚ
Iâm not sure FedEx can be faulted here. They delivered it, and thatâs where their (legal) responsibilities end. It isnât their fault that someone stole it afterwards. If anything it is my fault for taking chances like that, knowing full well what could happen.
This might be the universeâs way of telling me my collection is plenty big enough as it is and that I should stop buying more yoyos!
