This is the first time I haven’t been able to successfully deshield a bearing. all my other (4) D bearings either came unshielded or were normal c-clips like C bearings. It freakin rules though, Motion only makes bangers.

About last night…
Obviously I got this @ Nats and not in the mail, but man… I’m still beaming about actually being able to get one of these. A line started forming @ the Caribooth around 8:30 (an hour and a half before the drop lol), so I hopped in and I ended up being 3rd in line, which is why I was able to cop Legacy Peak #3! By far the best/coolest experience I’ve had buying a yoyo, and I’m pretty sure it’s the first time I’ve ever lined up for one 
So cool to be hanging w/ friends WHILE making your inner child so happy. As far as the actual yoyo itself, it’s fascinating seeing an old school design like this be so smooth, and it feels softer and rounder than my actual Peaks. Definitely plays like one though & I’ll be interested to compare it back to back with the OG when I get home to see the subtle differences between them. I was absolutely exhausted after yesterday but still couldn’t put it down once I got back to my hotel room, which is a testament to how sick this thing is and how happy I am. Overall I’m just feeling very lucky and over the moon that I was able to snag one!

I can fully understand that feeling you are describing because 48 hours ago I finally won one of Gsquared’s lotteries to be able to purchase a yoyo from G2 and while I haven’t received it yet, this 64 year old child has been absolutely giddy with excitement.

This arrived from YYE today. They are described as beginner tops, but aside from being small, they really behave like higher cost tops.
Very simple fixed tip design, nothing fancy, but they are solid players.
If any of you yo-yo guys think you might ever get into spin tops, you should get one of these and a YYF Short Circuit. Save this until you feel comfortable with a steel tip, heavier top.
Get them while you still can, the Strummol8 stuff is going to be collectors items soon.

You have a good collection of different feels there now. I don’t know about you but I am absolutely loving my Ptarmigan.
When I get back from vacation I think I’m going to sell the MK1 ring bearer. I want another undersized I’m liking them way better. So on the 6th when I get back I’m posting for trade or sale
