It is that colorway, yes. I would put it closer to a grey-green-black-blue. It might depend on the light it’s in, too. It’s really hard to describe but it’s gorgeous

It looks awesome, just not purple! It looks like a dark teal to me, in the photos, which would be fine with me! Dark teal is a favorite of mine.

My order from yoyoexpert arrived earlier this morning on the last day of the year.
Really looking forward to getting to know the edition Deepest State over the next few days and I couldn’t resist picking up a Northstar too for the nostalgia.

I have the Mercy 8 in Grey.
My strings are wearing down in the same area. Strands sticking out around the bearing etc. I was looking to buff that area around the response pads to fix it. I love the yoyo apart from that. But I read on other posts you prefer the 7 anyway. But has anyone had any joy doing this on the Mercy 8? I love it but Im worried I’ll throw it through the oven glass or the TV when the string goes. haha.

I’m not a fan of the Mercy 8, I wound up getting a Wilderness 7075 to satisfy my desire for a larger H-shaped yoyo and LOVE it. The Mercy 7 is still one of my favorite throws of all though. The 6, 7, and 8 are so different from each other, it’s confusing why AceYo keeps a singular name for the line.
