Love the look of that colorway! Was that the same finish as your original?

I’ve always been on the lookout for a minty ZipLine Edition First Base. Still no luck but one can dream

Looks amazing!!!

No, I had one of the newer ones that’s a royal blue with yellow-gold splash:

I was never very fond of the color, which is a big reason I gifted it. Love the engravings and color of the new one. Pictures made it look kind of gold but it’s more of a brown/bronze in person and I love me a brown yoyo

My only First Base is the one I got from ZipLine a while back:

Not huge fan of plastic throws so it doesn’t see much play, but it does have a nice nostalgic feel.

Zipline first base was clear only right? I feel like I did this exact half swap lol

At one point I had a bunch of them for club but I have no idea if I have any left or gave them all away

They did some hand dyed ones mid-2024 and sold some half-swaps, direct. According to PayPal I bought mine June 1, 2024. Both halves have the logo.

How does it play? Looks very cool:)

Its plays very well, its very maneuverable and powerful on the string and is big in the hand. My only gripe is that the rims feel a bit sharp on a couple edges.
