was kinda worried about the 4.6 gap but im gonna just leave the stock pads in and use xxl strings, feels good so far! Have only tested some binds and swapped them so far but they seem sick

I just got a Jigun Rumbling in the mail today. I was curious to check them out because it’s the brand that sponsors Wu Cong Cong and they have some affordable bimetals.

Jigun/LEP is one of my favorite lesser known brands making many excellent throws. I have 4 different models from them in multiple olorways so far Okigokko 3, Bi Polar, Insignia 2 and Aibou. Most people in the US actually so far have given good reviews on these yoyos. Most of the older yoyo models no longer on their website are sold by ■■■■■■■ in the US or under a different title name. For me, Jigun is a safe bet because they include parts from Sochi bearings(SKF makes these for Sochi are excellent), pads and strings. The Insignia 2 is a good alternative to the Wilderness 7075 if not a better with the better parts. The new Okigokko 3(6061) is like futurist monometal that is trim/slim down version of the Insignia but more modeled on the Lep Martian+ nearly identical specs. Bi polar, is the successor to the Rumbling no longer in the Jigun 2025 lineup is a comfortable enjoyable bi metal with a bigger axel said to make it more stable.The AIbou is my favorite small size first throw that I highly praise as a must have plays fantastic is made of 7068 Aluminum an super affordable.

While I enjoy and support important brands in the yoyo community, I’m generally a value shopper and lean towards less expensive/smaller brands. I have a pretty big collection of Ace Yo, but my opinion towards them is turning a bit because the blasted texture of my Mercy 8 (both inner and outter ring versions), extends the whole way to the response pad, creating friction and wearing down the string. This is a lazy oversight since many brands will polish around that area for less friction and string wear.
I’m enjoying this throw so far, and was impressed it came with a Sochi string. It’s interesting you mention the Wilderness 7075, that’s another throw I have and enjoy, I’ll have to look at the Insignia 2.
Needed to restock some favorites (most all of my bape swaps wear Busta Lime Slushies) and wanted to try some new colors/Fluff, too. I always feel like I won a lottery when I get an extra “prototype” string (though I always save them and have never actually tried one…
)
