Got this G2 Al7 Aribiter x today, great fun to play with so far and the poison plumb colourway is something to be admired. This one is a glitch but I can’t say why. Special thanks to Nigel for parting with it

Can someone explaine the history of that balls desing to me?I’m a bit confused…I throught it was an A-rt prototype desing, and now I see that YYF has manufactured it (!)
WHO WAS THE FIRST TO DESING IT AND RELEASE IT?
How does it feel on the string? What do you think of it?

Now we have whatever that YYF design is I guess
there’s also arguably more lineage to the DK (could maybe cite the SPYY pure, edition aspen, unprld hash, and some others)

a-rt actually had a prototype release of the balls late last year. wasn’t really announced – they just put some up in the store. not sure how yyf has a hand in it but i’m pretty sure the design is tied to tyler vienneau’s hush-hush brand https://drqbellcurve.hotglue.me/

I knew A-rt had something to do with that desing…the prototype they announced with the pixelated image went on sale, and it was just a fleeting glimpse on their website.

The recess base has a very special place in my heart. Went from Skyva to the not as nice but souped up wider Mojo, to the Recess Base and the organic plastic you don’t come across very often. Love that yoyo especially in the clears.

wild, the YQYQ page has Balls on it lol. I really hope that yoyofactory didnt just steal this and they’re actually involved somehow. i would go from loving how ridiculously stupid this yoyo is, to hating it really quick lol

That’s why I ask, YYF has had controversies in the past due to plagiarism of desings…hopefully there’s an explanation for this.

I don’t want to defend yyf but also two spheres with a bearing between them is not a revolutionary idea that’s never been thought of either. Also I could see the humor language of that team come up with this as a trophy for worlds pretty easily. I can hear the childish giggles around the laptop as Ben parades the idea around headquarters

Kind of on the fence. Need more time to get used to it’s width. Wicked smooth and the blue is the coolest ever. First impressions: I really want the body to be a hair less wide. But perhaps it’ll grow on me the more I throw it. I haven’t had but 10 minutes of play on it so far.
