Spinworthy Steadfast. Kinda bummed I didn’t buy one sooner, but I’m glad there was one left.
Nice thank you for removing the temptation I was avoiding yye because of that.
I love and appreciate pens and penmanship, but no matter how hard I practice my handwriting still looks like a toddlers.
Today was a great day to come and get this in the mail. It was delayed because of weather and finally arrived.
Oh wow! I was looking at these on their site today. So much tinier than I expected!
Just did a really great trade with @GnarlyCharlie I’m stoked.
Nice! I’m glad they made it to you safely.
Thanks again. From me to you should be pretty fast as well. Enjoy!
Amazing photos of your Spinworthy Steadfasts, my friend !
Total studio quality !
How are you finding the Ti Respawn as compared with the El TiO?
they’re very different animals. both of them do a great job of capturing the essence of the yoyos they’re based on. if have experience with both of those yoyos I think you’ll have a good idea of the play differences.
el tio is a little more rim weighted and has a little more kickback, but gap is more adjustable due to accepting 3mm bearings. ti respawn is a little lighter and floatier. both of them are wonderful examples of responsive yoyos
These technically came in the mail yesterday, but I only had time to get them set up today. DocPop has knocked it out of the park again with these. I have my boltxp set up responsive (swapped in a slim bearing, 3 drops of thick lube) and it actually feels really nice that way. The pltps and the boltxp both play lighter than their weight, something I’ve noticed in DocPop’s designs. The pltps is a stall machine. The boltxp is a yoyo I could just stand around doing stop n go on for hours while watching TV. Both very fun throws.
Don’t stick your fingers in there while it’s spinning.
Seeing a Mag always makes me smile.
Wanted a Delrin Fh1 but missed them at drop, no idea how a random ad for YYE displaying the delrin FH1 late last Thursday night wasn’t false hope and i purchased one new from YYE.
@AndreBoulay was there a restock or something?
You bought this new from YYE and it arrived with that gash? I would return it ASAP. That is poor quality control.
It’s just a tiny pinprick, and I don’t mind at all. It plays great and will probably have more marks soon. I guess this one went to the right person, cause I don’t really care. As far as I’m concerned, I got a “special edition”.
I’m pretty sure my kamaraiju came with almost the exact same mark. I thought maybe I did it since I pretty much never inspect a new throw for marks or vibe before I string it up and start playing, but I don’t remember hitting it on anything before I noticed it. Either way I’m in the same boat I didn’t really care.
Actually, you got a damaged item. If you paid retail - you deserve to get an undamaged item. That you accept it being damaged is irrelevant. It is still damaged goods.
