I’m a week behind but I had a big week last week. I got the three remaining Butterflys to complete the collection, all three Janus, a Cold Fusion (is there a longer spinning modern responsive out there?) and a Toonie and Pocket Rocket in the BST from my good friend @Hojo-YoYo.

The profile is similar as well. Kind of a peak with a big response bump. It kind of has a nice floaty feel similar to the peak.
Took some comparison pictures next to a second run peak. Also just a personal preference but I prefer the older lynx to the new version. This is the first proto as well if anyone is wondering.

Upon seeing the FAF2023 videos, 3 of my friends from different circles got interested in wooden fixies.
We couldn’t find Legend Wings for them to try, but fortunately, we managed to get wooden fixies made by our friends at Spingear.
Compared to the Legend Wing, it has a thicker axle and slightly smoother walls. It is light and zippy, doesn’t spin long but it’s great for stalls. I’d say it’s another good intro to the world of wooden fixies.
Oh, and I was also able to grab a couple of Proflies. Man, I missed throwing those! Hope they get a rerun!

I been waiting for these to show up on here and see what people think. Was debating on that or the first base. The first base has been a blast though. I probably used it 4 hours already in just a little over 24 hours.

My final order from BadWolf strings came in today. Sad to see BadWolf go, Happy to get some strings from them. Hope they are able to do short runs every now and again if they do I will be ready and waiting.
