It’s the DK (doorknob) from A-rt. It has unique play style, very fun for small range speed combo’s. Here’s a fun trick learnt from Tyler Vienneau using the DK.
is the aerodynex mono good for horizontals? Also what are its strengths and weaknesses in terms of performance/doing tricks?
I been thinking of getting that same radio. Think its a baofeng? I got a uniden now but wanted a cheap back up. I use them for railfanning.
Great book
Pretty excited for it. Seven Eves is in my top ten and I’ve heard nothing but good things on this one
Yep a uv5r. There like 18 bucks. I’m getting the tri band next, about 37$. Pretty solid radio and if anything bad happens I’m not out a couple of hundred bucks.
I had a UV5R, nice tiny radio. Sold it off and got 2 UV-82 HP along with Yeasu FT-60R.
Nice!! Tell us more, how does it play?? Like the Wangle all pumped up?
Yeah it actually does. I prefer it to the wangle. It is actually really floaty and nimble feeling for how heavy it is. Probably the best of the gs line up in my opinion. Highly recommended
If you have any specific questions I can try to answer to the best of my ability
Appreciate it. I’ll get one eventually. Just waiting on different colors.

Happy holidays, happy new year ( and happy new mail thread!)
Would like to ask how would you compare shutter elite with klondike? In terms of doing different kinds of competitive stuffs haha
Blasted racing red OD Küntosh 5000qv: So in the end I lost any willpower to wait for another release. A huge thank you to @Yoyomikie for handing it over to me. Another big thank you to David from Onedrop who helped me out with a set of gray sideeffcts to give it the look I was aiming for. I am still strong honneymoonin’ but I really, really like it so far. The finish is just stellar!
The shutter elite for starters is definitely much wider and more powerful than the Klondike. The Klondike definitely wins out on the floaty side but lacks in power compared to the elite. I am a really big fan of both and I was playing with the Klondike a lot before the elite came in the mail so I got a good chance to compare them side by side. I’ve actually been really impressed with how floaty and nimble the elite is for a Yoyo that is 66+ grams. It isn’t the fastest Yoyo in the world but I’d say it’s comparable to the Klondike in regards to speed. It’s an absolute beast at horizontal, stays on plane for forever and really shreds through everything. In all, they are very different Yoyos both good in their own right. As far as which one I prefer, I haven’t really had enough time with the elite yet to make up a solid opinion. I highly recommend it though.
