Picked up the new at design zero and I was initially really impressed but it’s kind of gone downhill. The silky coating is very similar to moonrock so it has a nice texture to it. The yoyo on the initial throw was very smooth and comfy in the hand. It definitely reminds me of a sudo/parlay but more flared out for comfort. Unfortunately I got a knot in the gap while I was playing and decided to take it apart only to cause serious issues with the bearing seat. It went from smooth to vibey from just taking it apart once and putting it back together. Took some pictures of the bearing seat for reference.
I’m going to take some high grit sandpaper to the bearing seat to try and smooth it out when I get home but right now it’s tug responsive because of metal shavings/silky coating in the bearing seat/bearing. I tried clearing it out but I think I’m going to need a toothpick or some qtips to get everything out.
