Slim dunk rebound! This thing scores from all areas of the court (yes I’m a yoyo boomer). Super fun throw!

Well, I might have to put a stamp of approval on this one. Bit early for a verdict as I got it today, but so far it feels much more up my alley than the Fulvia or 000 (neither of which were particularly worthwhile in my book), and generally outstanding for a non-Delrin plastic. I was also struck by the fact that it feels vaguely like a relative size increase that is comparable to the one experienced when I bought my first Peak… I tended to lean toward undersized back in 2007-2009, what with my love for the Project/Project 2, E1NS, and OG Mary - so the OG Peak felt rather large relative to those in a way similar to the plastic Peak feeling large in comparison to the Koi, Grail, and other modern favorites. Extra dose of nostalgia there. I still want to see the Peak get the true-to-size Delrin version it deserves, but this is pretty impressing.

glad to read that you fixed the problem
The seriousness and correctness of YYE are exemplary!

A silly mail day but my old imperial cracked and while usable is rough and hard to loop with.

Decided to get two this time

I like your style!

Edit: I just picked these up for the first time in two weeks and immediately busted out my most impressive Milk the Cow ever.

I made the mistake of throwing @Albertino’s Klondike before sending it off to him, and I couldn’t resist.

What other yoyo does the Klondike most feel like in play?

One of my, “Grails” kinda. A short story, years in the making.

I have been collecting since 1998. Back in the AntiYo days, I had collected all of their Yoyos. I was lucky enough to pick them up at retailers when they were released, paying retail prices. My main source was YYN. I was able to pick up a few of them in person when YYN was run out of a penthouse in NYC. At the time I didn’t realize how lucky I was. Not only to be able to own them, but to be able to hand pick through boxes. The YoYos are worth a fortune now.

During the hype I had heard of a AntiYo-DocPop collaboration that was going to drop. The only problem was they were very limited and you could only get them through DocPop. At the time I knew Doc through the community but that was it. I sent Doc an email trying to buy one of the rare YoYos, “The END”. Unfortunately I never heard back from Doc. Shortly after I had heard through the On-line boards that the YoYo had sold out. I was bummed.

I had tried for a couple years to pick one up second hand. No luck. Everyone who had scored one knew what they had, no one was letting them go. Can’t blame them, it’s a special Yo. “The END” is a modified Eesit, basically a Eesit with Smove Grooves. It came with a custom Selvedge denim pouch made by Doc with a very unique Bronze/Yellow finish on the Yo. A very cool and Unique Yo.

On to the remake. Quite a few years later, Doc partnered up to have the modern version of, “The END” made. I understand there were a couple releases of this version. For various reasons I missed and was unable to pick one up. The most recent release I missed by a day.

For what ever reason it seemed like I wasn’t supposed to own a END. Well that all changed yesterday. I was finally able to add this beauty to my little collection. Is it the original END, no, but this one means a little more to me. It was a gift from an amazing friend. So I do consider this one of my Grails. :pray:t4:

ive not felt anything like this one before. my experience with competition style bimetals is limited.

it plays much lighter than i expected it would, but has a hefty but non-demanding presence on the end of the string. it is agile and bouncy, but is super easy to control because you’re really aware of where it is in play. super stable and spins forever. overall incredible playing yoyo, was a “woah” at first throw for me. few yoyos have gotten that out of me

It’s pretty similar to the JT Kagerou and Shade, and also the YYF Will. It also looks pretty similar to the W!ld but I haven’t tried one
