ahh so you mean this is even more powerful than the JS? interesting. How would you say about klondike’s performance in horizontal and tech though?

It absolutely is by a very noticeable amount. JS probably spins a bit faster, but Klondike is def more powerful.

Better on both fronts because it’s got more stability and better controllability.

It’s one of those rare yoyos that comes along every once and awhile and changes how you look at and evaluate other yoyos. Last time I tried a “reset button” yoyo was the Collapsar… which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it certainly is a palate cleanser.

Not sure if I should consider this a good or bad mail day.

Before I get flamed, I know this is the “King of Suck” the worst yoyo in the world. I was kind of intrigued when I learned about this and since I own a couple of Revolution’s quad-line kite, I figured it’s a unique piece of history. When I saw it pop up on flebay I figured I’d wasted more money on other things so what the hell.

I present to you the “King of Suck” The Rev-G.

It has what I believe is the original string (because you could never use it long enough to get worn out) with the patented finger protector and manual

Can you elaborate on your own words why it is the “king of suck”?

Since I just received it I can’t speak to first hand experience, but going by other respected members of the forum have experienced some of the issues are lack of a response system which allows the yoyo to slip off the string instead of unwind, it has an adjustable gap system that doesn’t hold so response if any is unpredictable.

On a good note, the finger protector is said to be one of the better one out.

Had a pretty sweet Mail day on Monday. I’ve been selling lately, not buying. I am an RSO fan though, so I didn’t pass up these guys when they popped up on the BST.
I’ve also been wanting to add a “full size” organic Ti to the collection. I was hoping for a Bowl in Ti but that hasn’t worked out. Enter the YoYo Friends Ti Koi. All I can say is wow. So smooth. Stable, powerful and just a beautiful throw. No regerts on this one.

Enjoy the throw my friends

Yes! I wanted one of those so bad growing up…until I got to try one out. :joy:

It still makes me happy every-time I see a photo of one of these. Pure nostalgia.

How is the b grade? Super b gradey? Or pretty good

I have to refer back to what @yoyodoc says. I’ll let you know after I get some time with it.

I absolutely didn’t need another yoyo. I already have everything that I need to enjoy and progress. And I just got an amazing one last week that I haven’t spent enough time with yet. And I don’t want to go down the slippery slope of buying too many. But the joy of trying new things…and 4th of July sales…and a forum full of bad influences! It’s not too late for me if I stop now…

Also had no intention of trying a bi-metal anytime soon. I’m more than happy with the couple of plastics and couple of monometals that I now play with regularly. They can all handle way more than I am capable of. But when I was deciding on my sort of first monumental not too long ago, the Colossus VI was on the short list. I’ve still been a bit curious about the ones I passed on including the Colossus, but didn’t really want to buy anything more, especially if there’s no significant differentiation from what I already have - the exception is if I have some random, inexplicable desire on first sight (the Linear). Then I received 4th of July discount mails, and somehow randomly came across the Colossus S. $45 shipped for a bi-metal version of a yoyo that I had a lot of interest in by the company that my most used yoyo is made by. You would have done the same!

I don’t know that I will ever have a mail day to match this one. All four yoyos were gifts and mean the world to me. I will treasure them.

First off is the blue Beacon to match up with my red one.

The next three were from a dear friend that sent them to me because he is an amazing friend.

I didn’t know that Markmont Butterflies were even a thing until I found out I had one. Now I have two. The complete set. If I had a butterfly clearance sale this would be the last one to go.

My son saw me taking pictures and brought this one out. Not a Markmont but a nice match.

The coveted pink Butterfly.

This is a bit of a hybrid. It is the new mold but this logo should be on a white body. I dig it.

I’m a happy boy!!!
