What did you get in the mail, 2023

I can only take credit in so far as I picked a really solid team. By the time I logged in to Instagram to see your message, Todd had already checked it and let Waylon know who then proceeded to get an axle packed up for you.

Either way, I hope it gets too quickly and you enjoy the new throw!

Emphasis on the MAIL, lol.

A wonderful care package from @Woozie including a bunch of delicious melty candy, three chainmail counterweights, and pro-level presentation.

My daughter went to a candy store today and she got me this bubble gum filled yoyo.

It even has a tiny trick book.

Today’s yoyoexpert delivery…

Doc Pop Bolt in white, as soon as I get a suction cup, I’ll be removing the caps to reveal the silver matador spike.
I’ll keep my blue bolt and red bolt capped.
Midschool goodness.

Duncan FH1 AL, purple with white plastic caps installed.
The plastic caps reduce the weight significantly and make the FH1 AL behave even more playfully on the string.
Shoutout Danny.

Polyform A4 with the micro arc finish, @jeffreypang911 does not miss. Dead smooth. The finish feels close to Mg turning points but much, much finer. You really have to feel it for yourself. White text, on white finish with white Delrin rings… this thing is begging for a white ceramic bearing to finish off the look.
Highly recommend.

The Unprld Notion. Definitely a contender for yo-yo of the year. With the caps on, it’s a combination of Motif and Recognition in a Delrin hybrind package. The rings are placed perfectly to avoid too much rim weight.
One of the most unique yo-yos I’ve tried in awhile, there really isn’t anything similar to this. Future classic.

Great selection of yoyos :ok_hand:

It seems as if you need an actual can opener to open this guy, which is cool af haha
I’ve messaged Chuck to confirm before I try anything irreversible :joy:

Edit: confirmed, can opener required.
Chuck mentioned they purchased an actual canning machine especially for the Holy Grail packaging.
I’ll be practicing on some soup cans first so I can open this as cleanly as possible.

I don’t do other social media, so you all get to see my non-yo-yo buy nothing find.

It’s a mostly intact lego Naboo Starfighter. I’m missing about 9ish pieces of the ship itself. I even had R2 but my youngest has absconded with him.

I wouldn’t really have been interested in the set had it not been for the updated N-1 Starfighter from the Mandalorian, which my kids got me for last Father’s Day.

Note there the missing Mandalorian; subject to the same fate as R2…

Aight got my first hybrid and it’s pretty sick. Not louder than a plastic Yoyo and doesn’t have the resonance that some yo-yos have where it like sings a pitch almost so I’m def cool w hybrids. Punchier than it’s bro the xx.

Also got this flight and tossed it up once in the bedroom bc I was so curious and caught it right away so I’m stoked on that! 4a is about to get way easier than w the whip lol Kinda glad I tried that first tho bc now I have perspective…and that was kinda cool like how they did it old school makes me appreciate the OGs working with the tech they had and helps me realize how grateful I am for how far the tech has come lol

Today was supposed to be the most epic mail day. Cannot locate a package that was “delivered” to my workplace on Saturday.

Aaron sent me two new prototypes, 6 Parlays, a One Drop Reboot, and an Escolar FH1. Pray to the USPS gods that this box finds it’s way home :sob:
