Got a Zeekio care package in the mail today. Never thrown Zeekio before so I didn’t know what to expect. Much to my delight they’re all really good. The Rush especially.
They all came with flat bearings which seemed odd to me. Maybe that’s a Zeekio trait.
The rush looks awesome!
Brandon, based on the size, I’d say that is likely a Knick-KNack (mini Knack). It looks awesome!
Glen told me it was a KNack, I would have thought the same when I got it but idk.
Clicked around on the computer and like Magic(yoyo) landed a new colorway to add to the collection.
I’m not big on duplicates, but I love the green with speckles…
Plays just as good as it looks too! I’m kind of blown away honestly.
Came home today to a big mail day. I got a Freehand Pro, Cliff, MRL-04, and a Retrotink-5X Pro video upscaler that I bought instead of an Alpine lol.
Comparison shots of the MRL-04 next to a Cliff and Glacier Express to complete the weird CLYW undercut trio.
The MRL-04 is weird, it feels like it only shares the visual aesthetics of the Cliff, it plays nothing like one. It honestly doesn’t even feel like a typical H shaped/undercut yoyo. It feels decently zippy and light, and it’s not particularly stable. All of the weight feels like it’s concentrated in the metal center and the shape of the plastic shell is just for aesthetics. It’s fun though, it’s certainly unique. My opinion on it might change if I ever get a chance to try any other MRL shells.
Excellent choice!
Didn’t get this in the mail, and didn’t get it today… but picked this boi up in person from a local dude the other day. It’s a General Yo KLR 2, black hardcoat. It was labeled by Ernie as “C grade” due to the hardcoat application being less than stellar (there’s specs and pinprick sized bumps all over) and causing some vibe. However, the dude who sold it to me hand picked this one out of the ones available due to it having the LEAST amount of vibe and looking the best. I’m no @kretzschmar but I would say I’m one of a few dudes on here with a decent General Yo collection, and I can say for sure that despite this yoyo’s obvious flaws, it is without a doubt the best performing General Yo in my opinion. I would KILL for an “A Grade” version of this thing, or another run of them in general… it’s too bad barely any of these KLR 2’s exist and virtually no one knows about them. One of the reasons I love it so much is because it is MUCH lighter than the regular KLR’s… regular KLR sits at approximately 66-67g, these are 64g. Good stuff!
Yes, yes and yes. It is fantastic, except I’ve got a much more vibey one, lol. And you have an amazing collection that ignited my fire.
That is hilarious and impressive.

Is that what it’s actually called? I’d play with it.
