duncan butterfly and imperial. i cant even do snap starts or whatever, its painful.
Can you do snap-start on unresponsive? Ie. if you can already do that, you can do it with the butterfly/imperial. You just need a different mindset: with responsive, you just snap into the air, not at the ground. Then catch it.
To reiterate:
Snap into the air, because it’s responsive the string THEN starts to wind around the axle (while it’s still in the air) and you catch it.
If you approach it as snapping into a sleeper and tugging it back up to the hand, you’re in for a world of hurt.

Fixed axle fireball.
A guy I know gave me one his kid hatched. No sleeve bearing but it still had the axle screw. I put in a Spintastics wooden axle sleeve. Fits perfect. Plays great.
