My first metal is super beat up too. I lost my fhz and xconvict when I was younger wish I still had them
I already had pretty much all the basics down before I got the Canon, and honestly I only ever occasionally ding a yoyo, and usually only when ive been drinking. Most of my dings on the Canon were from the first few days of learning how to bind, and I quickly learned to keep my string hand high (or react quickly when I mess up). That said, pretty much every yoyo I have has a ding in it from usually the first 10 minutes of playing with it
First yoyo I throw in 2019 that isn’t a Vayder/Walker seems somewhat inspired by the Septopus.
I can’t help but feel like Andrew intended it that way.
This is an absolute treat.
The blizzard is one of my all time favorite bi-metals.
When i get a yoyo it usually doesn’t stay with me long, but the blizzard is one of those that has a permanent spot in my case.
Trying my first sets of Airetics. Got standard in black and slim in pink. First impressions are that they are fine
. I definitely need to get use to them.I picked this d!ckrunner up off the bst recently. It’s hardly left my hand the last couple days. Will be fun to see how it compares to the TiVayder.
I think the world needs a video of you trying to do a finger spin with this yo
I’ve seen some of these yoyos and they look like repurposed blender blades.
How does it actually play? It’s responsive I assume.
You get a finger in there its going to be mighty responsive.
I would love to track one of these down. I keep watching the YYE spintops section hoping these will one day come back into stock. @YoYoExpertGarrett any chance of getting these again?

Since I received it I’ve almost exclusively been using my Raiser 2.0. Going to try a couple more different designs that have become popular since I’ve been out, but I don’t see much beating this thing for me. The inner ring placement that’s pushed back a bit combined with the shape and size gives the yo-yo the exact feeling I’m looking for and I’m probably just going to look for similar stuff from now on.
I am getting my TiVayfder once they start shipping though so who knows if my opinion will change. I’m sure I’ll love it but i have very specific preferences so we’ll see if it beats the Raiser.
I really like my Silenus. I think these are similar in the weight distribution in that the weight is not exactly on the very rims, which means it plays like a yoyo with a smaller diameter and width, with all the benefits of a larger yoyo
It gives you more spin power but not as much as if it were on the rims but makes up for that with stability and a particular feel that yo-yos with this weight distribution have. I’m pretty sure that’s what Gentry was going for with the shutter and it’s very similar to the kayak in feel as the kayak has some inner rings as well. It just has less spin time and isn’t quite as stable because it’s not using steel rings, they’re just part of the aluminum body.
I like my Selene a lot too, very satisfied with my first TopYo purchase and will 100% be buying more. I’ll likely get a 2nd Raiser 2.0 if it ever restocks.
