What are you throwing today?

I love the crisp detail of the parking lot. Is this what it is like to need prescription glasses?

Got this from Throw It Forward (s/o to @Phantisee86)
I’ve been throwing it nonstop since I got it, such a powerful, fun, little throw.

I like how the ground has more detail than @Grendel’s hands. That or he MiB’d his prints off.

This is the yo that got be back into yoing a few months ago.
Saw it at Walmart for $10 and was flooded with nostalgia. I didn’t have a lot of money so I didn’t pick it up. My nearest walmart is 30 minutes away.
Got home and watched a couple reviews on the yo…and decided I HAD to have it! lol…made the 30 mile trip again the next morning and I love this throw! I’m super impressed with it for being just $10!

Haven’t touched the thing since getting some higher end throws…but today I’m giving the little guy some much needed love! It’s way more than capable of all the simple tricks I know!

Sure why not. It’s not like your going to see anything.

Coming to an end of 5A May, this is one of my only non Duncan setups a @brandonvu Magic Yo-Yo white Variant and a PoryKon counter weight with Fat yellow Kitty. The Porykon is very comfortable in the hands and combined with the Variant I feel like I’m cheating a little bit

The Decoy is an excellent throw, definitely one of my favs. I liked my SS one so much that I got the brass one as well. Both are great but distinct in their own way. Im absolutely amazed at the spin times on this thing, probably the longest in my collection.

Yeah this thing is wicked powerful and fun, and I don’t typically care for bimetals that much.

The Doc Pop Weekender via One Drop, responsive, light

How is it, Jeff? Good?

It’s cool, it is a very different take on metal responsive, being simultaneously wider and lighter. Notice the inner gap walls go almost straight up, so it’s an “all wing” metal responsive.

For comparison purposes, my EDC nickel/copper deep state is 55.3g with string, this weekender is 48g with string. It is a bit larger in diameter and about 1.5x wider overall, so you really feel the reduced weight in the design.

That’s called a high wall.

Right, for sure, but the wings that extend out are the notable part. I have some other modern responsives where the wall goes more or less straight up but they don’t have the exaggerated rims, and certainly not at 48g!

Wide yo-yos are kinda bad for responsive in my experience, so they are threading the needle here by making it ultra light (comparatively speaking) so it plays real interesting.

Love the color, but the engravings :man_facepalming:t3:.

Kicking myself for not snagging one.
