I do have a tendency to view other people’s work as better that my own.

Oh, man, do I know THAT feeling. Noticing things that others do better can be a healthy thing, and a tool for driving improvement. If it doesn’t eat you alive, of course.
That being said, my SW Bloodcell is amazing, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

That’s true, and it does spur me in to create better things.

Getting ready to record another review. The Dif-e-Yo BTB Tank will be the star of this one.

I had modded this ProFly to use an A-size bearing and rubber response rings along some rim weight rings under the caps/pogs, making it a really smooth unresponsive throw. Well, I decided for today to put the original wood axle back in, but leave the rim weight rings in (bringing the yoyo to 59g rather than 52g). Turns out it’s pretty great…imagine a Freehand 2 with a wooden axle.

This is the yoyo that started it all for me back then. I didn’t know squat about yoyos and had never played with one before even as a kid. I found it on YYE right after it released and had to have it. I still remember how satisfying it was when I finally figured out how to bind.
