Good day for the Metal Yeti
Wow! very beautifull
a not “Fool’s Gold”
how many are there in all? five?
Yes, as you know most of this run failed so only a few A-grade were sold.
and yes, the “concept” of Fool’s Gold was born due to the problem that had on this run (and if I remember correctly there should be around 25 b-grades and 5 a-grades, like yours).
Congratulations because besides the rarity the Golden Nugget is one of the spalsh colors that I like the most!
Going to have to give the Rain City Skills Show Pony the Green Light (Lego Hubs). An Organic aficionado’s must have @MrYoyoThrower
That’s a great photo, I’m glad you are enjoying it!
Yes - I had a Fools Gold nugget as well but I sold that a long time ago.
The golden nugget is a favourite of my Peak’s. The quality of the anodisation is exceptional.
I have every CLYW throw and the Metal Yeti is a firm favourite. Fun, relaxed and effortless. Easily my favourite of the modern CLYW’s.
Was throwing a Metal Yeti then picked this one up. It doesn’t get played as much as the others as I prefer a larger diameter but it’s still good.
Man, I’d love one of those!
What is it like play wise, compared to a Wooly Marmot? Are they virtually the same?
I could make an epic post about minutia. But I won’t! They’re very similar. Markmont has the nicer finish, feels better in the hand.
The difference is a lot like a project vs a markmont project. Slightly more heft and I don’t know if it’s the coating it feels “tightened up” and higher performance like a titanium vs aluminium. Overall I play with the original version more, as it feels more relax and doesn’t tires me out as quickly.
That’s a whole lot of Yetis! Very nice.
That pair looks good.
