They are quite different. The new PyroX is a better modern player but the original holds it’s own and is still a sweet throw!
profile is changed quite a bit. The original is a classic, high wall organic shape whereas the X adds a step towards an H shape.

the response is also different. The OG uses diff pads and the X utilizes a silicone response.
both are great throws. still love the OG but the new X is a beast too.

I got those same ones! My red/grey pair started getting all drifty, so I bought a new set. Then I bought replacement sticks and shells for the old pair, and now they are SUPER dope (get it?), and I have a d-pad.
They very briefly had them up for sale on their official site early. I snatched a green/yellow

CLYW Arctic Circle (og). Picked up at a reasonable price on ebay and it arrived in the post last week, the seller bought it new when it came out and I don’t think he threw it more than a handful of times (why do people buy them just to look at???) so it is in very nice condition. This also means the snow tire pads aren’t worn in at all and it is still proving to be quite grippy (although getting better!). They are the white ones which feel really quite soft to the touch.
Anyway I really like the Boy so wanted to see what this is like. They look so similar but there is enough of a difference in them for them to both be valid additions. I thought I had gone off CLYW some time ago but have since found out that I really like their older stuff!

I have been pretty excited for this yo though! I remember you mentioned something briefly about re-releasing the FH AL last year on these forums and I was really hoping you’d release one in green this time around.
I spent like 5 hours yesterday looking for concave ball bearing for my pyro man o man i found one I had to e-mail dif-e-yo and asked shame they didnt have ceramic in stock.
I learned that size D 5x11x5 also known as 685zz lol too much google i went to every possible website lol I even bought non concave nsk from ebay I hope ot fits lmao either way. I Got one I prob didnt need a new one in my pyro but I wanted a concave or V shaped. If you ever need one just E-mail dif I think they are gonna talk with yoyoexpert to put it in stock on their site.
