Hi,today my old DNA!
OH! Can you do walk the dog with it!?
How long does it sleep?
Hahahaha I can do hobble the dog. Only sleeps after a nice big meal. It’s a bit hyper.
2Sick Serenity from @KesmEyeball! My favorite 2Sick monometal.
I’m glad I’m not the only one giving my cats hats.
She’s so surprisingly chill about it.
Still early in the year but this may easily become the best of 2020, One Drop Intro, in a Teal and Blue 1/2 swap.
I missed the DM2’s heyday and so I’ve been thinking about snagging one. Think it’s worth dropping $50 for a new one today?
I love my 2 Sick Serenity. That is one of my faves. The rims are awesome. They feels comfy on returns. I got the tide pod colorway. I don’t normally like full sized with huge catch zones but the Serenity just feels so solid and I was surprised I liked it as much as I did…or do.
Yea, im interested in how they feel too. The DM2 looks sick and I am convinced that I want one, but I have no idea if id like it.
The DM2 feels pretty amazing in terms of shape and general playability. However, its hefty weight takes a lot of getting used to, at least for me, which is why I keep mine as a collector’s piece and not so much as a playing throw.
I decided to pick up this exotic beast today.
Before I get a flood of questions, it’s a Tom Kuhn RD-1.
what yoyo is that?
It plays somewhat floaty, definitely not a super zippy yoyo. If you only play low walled v shapes, it can seem tilty, but once you sharpen up your technique, it spins about as long as modern plastics like the wedge. It definitely needs to be gotten for nostalgia or “every seems to have tried one except me”, rather then expecting maxed out performance. It does look super cool in sunlight.
Thanks for the info. I know they’re at different levels, but I’ve thrown around a Lyn Fury a bit lately as well as a Journey, so I am guessing there’s some similarity in terms of the high wall effect and all that.
Man I loved the Lyn Fury back when it first came out. It was such a good playing throw for the $12’ish back then!
I need to pick one up at some point just for the nostalgia!
Wish I had paid $12. Mine ended up like $28 dlvd when the dust of a minor bidding war settled. It was NIB, so totally worth it.
