I’ve been super into fixies. Just got the Beaver and it’s been great. Birds Eye maple to match the finished and roasted birds eye maple fretboard on my Quest. I will now only refer to this paring as my good-time-boys.

Lep/Jigun out of Japan was cool enough to send me a freebie as one of their best customers 2025. I was so impressed with the Onigokko3 another Wu Cong Cong signature yoyo. I collected the whole regular series. They have a special edition for the 2025 World Yoyo contest edition that’s got the city laser engraving which I have one not seen here in the photos. The laser engraving I think is so future swag isn’t exactly the same on the second round of colorway releases but no complaints. The yoyo is a freaking 10 out of 1O in my opinion goes for a ridiculous USD$35. Jigun uses Sochi bearings, string and pads. Sochi bearing are made by SKF a top of the line global bearing manufacturier!!! It’s got a double rim an when I saw this for the first as a titanium or stainless steel. I was like bruh you didn’t send me a titanium but it turns out it’s a 6061Al. The CNC machining is off the charts if you study the rim design. There is a inward slope around going towards the pads plus a plus rim. Come on that’s dope for the price point!!!

One here that isn’t listed as sold.
I discovered last night while the stainless rims aren’t “sharp” they’re sharp enough to cut some strands in the string. I think this was only an issue because I was throwing sideways repeatedly trying to get the finger spin.

I don’t know if CLYW is going to re-run the “Yeti Hand” Everyday. Sounds like there are a lot of new designs in the queue, but many are collabs with other brands, bands etc. so maybe they will come back to it for their store releases.
