I didn’t think flat caps would look slick on my Rainier but I was pleasantly surprised. Think I’m finding my favorite setups for both this and Fat Tire.

It instantly became one of my favorites. It has a unique feel, and I think the performance greatly exceeds what I expected in terms of stability and power. I’ve bounced it off a hardwood floor a dozen times and it looks like new. I’ve had it for a few months now and I play it everyday.

No, it’s a 1963 Champ. I’ve always referred to it as a 63 since it was produced in Dec 63. Bonamassa refers to his as a 64. Same as the earlier tweeds but in black. My friend Skip had it brought in at his store in Sacramento and knew I wanted one. They thought it had been redone in black so he gave it to me for $100. My favorite amp I’ve ever played. Wished we lived closer, I’d swing it by for you to try.
