Agreed. I am no scientist, but I think it plays a little better with these.
Picked up my Terrarian tonight. The way it sounds with string hits is the closest I’ll ever get to titanium.
And I was liking the vibe after ignoring this yoyo for so long that I got out the whole Blue Drop group
Terrarian, Kamuraiju, Rainier, even Fat Tire was fun. OneDrop really has a vibe to it, ya know?
how does this yoyo play?
The sense of lightness and the more rounded rim shape really help; It’s a “comfortable” kind of yo-yo.
The width is ideal for my taste. Practicing binds feels phenomenal with a thicker string. Extremely stable.
Who’s your team?!?
what do u think for comp? hahah
Unfortunately the Padres haha. What about you?
I don’t think that would be the most appropriate choice. I’d say a Mustang has more going for it in terms of competitiveness.
Oh nice. I’m a Jays fan. But I’m also just a huge fan of baseball and will watch whoever is on

This is by far the best colorway for the Loadout (and maybe even across the G2 lineup). ![]()
What’s that string?
Hard for me to choose a favorite G2 colorway but this one is definitely up there!
I’ve been trying my hand at making my own string and I’m finally starting to get it all dialed in. This is one I made to match using 100% nylon.
On the road waiting for grandbaby number 2 to arrive. Here’s the road crew. Haymaker OG and AL, BC Rainbow and MK1/Spinworthy Plasm. If anyone has never tried an OG Haymaker or feels as if it’s unworthy of a glance, have a look at the description.
I’ve always been fond of the OG and found it to be incredibly long spinning and super stable with great presence. As of late I’ve been trying to speed things up a bit and here’s where I’ve found the true meaning of nimble as relates to a yo-yo. Some yo-yos really resist changing directions quickly. In fact, some will even go from smooth and stable to spinning out of control by trying to push them faster than they want to go. The Haymaker OG is not like that, in fact its quite nimble, yet another reason for me to love it more. The Haymaker AL also captures well what I think they were going for. And who doesn’t know BC and Plasm? All in all a pretty solid road crew.
