This Airwave came in the mail today. Made a matching sting for it. You can see it’s already marked up from the rubber mats in my garage.

4a is a struggle at first. But like most things, once you get through the initial learning curve, it becomes exponentially easier.
Either way- I thought I read you were trying 4a on a whip, that’s a small mark to hit. The size difference alone should make a huge improvement.

Yes, I could throw, catch and sometimes bind the Whip, but it stopped spinning so fast, that is all you have time for.
The Airwave was instantly catchable. And spins way longer. At first I couldn’t bind return it, but I have done 10 in a row now. Toss, catch, return.
Really enjoying it.

@TheThrowingGnome You’d win that bet. I don’t really feel any vibe other than the string - but that’s only if I throw it improperly. It feels as smooth as when I originally received it out of the box. And both halves have fallen on the ground and I’ve never replaced the response pads - and I’ve thrown it every day since I got it, whenever it was released.
