Got a pair of Rain City Chuck-A-Duccs in the Pink Billed Platypus, @MrYoyoThrower right now I prefer the feel of the V1 (little cup) over the V2 (big cup). Both are laced with Twisted Stringz Blue Regs.

Last September I got back into playing after a few decades and was blown away by all the amazing new yo-yos. Since then I have gotten a One Drop Deep State, yoyofactory 720, flight, replay pro, Wedge, Duncan Big Fun and butterfly xt. Plus awesome strings, and I even got into Begleri and Kendama just to mix it up.

I’m working my way up. I didn’t know how to bind so I wasn’t confident that I wouldn’t ruin a really nice or expensive yoyo. I’m definitely looking forward to getting a really nice One Drop. But I’m waiting for the right one. Until then I’m thinking of getting a Shutter wide angle.

I hear ya. When my Replay hit concrete and it got nicked I was very upset. I don’t even notice the nick anymore. I dinged a One Drop yoyo on concrete and I don’t even notice the ding anymore. I try hard to not let my yoyos get damaged but my yoyos exist to serve me not the other way around. There’s more of a chance of me dinging my $8,000 car than my $60 yoyo but I still drive my car every day. Just play your metal inside over the carpet until you get used to it and figure out your ideal string length. One day without thinking you will shove it in your pocket and take it with you.

Lol, those two wouldn’t since they aren’t the same yoyo, but a pair of either would probably be decent. The V1 is thinner if that’s preferable.
