You, sir, have made my heartless chassis soar with this beautiful photograph. It is a shame One Drop does not make Side Effects in a similar shade of blue, so that you could take this masterpiece to even greater heights.
My only question to you is, why not Brass Energy Domes to further increase the weight of this already formidable beast?

i was running brass dietz but i swapped them for ul to reduce the center weight and really lean into the rim weighted distribution

Been doing a One-A-Week+, one throw, minimum one week, play no others. This week I am spending some quality time with the Weekender.
This is one of those throws that I bought and then it sat mostly unused. Glad I am finally taking some time to get to know it intimately well.
I can already tell it’s going to be a really good week

this is interesting. I’ve been doing something similar. i haven’t set a time frame specifically, but ive been seeking to understand design choices and subtleties and as such ive been trying to spend time focused on one throw at a time. getting to know each one completely. it has given me a new appreciation for several and highlights the individual “personality” differences of each

That’s the goal, that and thinning the herd. I was in a rut of thinking of all of my gear as either; fixed/mr, responsive, unresponsive. Hard stop.
When I recently switched to 99% responsive play i carried nothing but a butterfly or a no jive for a week or two. I was amazed at how different from each other they were even when playing the same style.
It really opened my eyes to things I have never noticed before and breathed new life into my collection. The unfortunate side effect of GAD is forgetting to take the time to enjoy what you have. I can’t recall where I first read it, but it’s made me wholly embrace the “Buy less, play more” motif
