Mono Metal Monday; was checking out the Back to the 90s and 00s BST, so I pulled out this F.A.S.T. 401K, Dif Pads on the Shuttles, one at 0 the other at 2.5 with some Fat Duncan Bulk Poly for those regens and lacerations. One of the ultimate A Bearings in existence

Pretty much just keep coming back to the Rainier. There’s just something about it that really clicks for me. Really hoping OD does a boosted version!

Oktober Red FAST 401k
I still love this throw and it gets regular play. It was my first performance throw and it’s traveled the world with me on many trips. I learned to bind with this throw. This represents my YoYo roots. I think it holds its own against many newer throws out there. It’s timeless.

My relationship with yoyos has changed a lot over the years. I was a teenager during the YoyoNation days so I would mostly just look at all the cool pictures of cool new yoyos and go back to playing my Bone Chip and Freehand Zero.
I took a break and got back into it at around 2015 after having had a job for a while and working. I was able to buy an anti Yo ywet that I beat the hell out of playing 5A. I took another break when life got busy.
Got back into it and started really pursuing clyw yoyos. I had a Borealis 1 (still have it, my longest-owned yoyo at this point) and a bonfire that was a gift.
I got within 2 yoyos of a full clyw collection. At that point I had like, 300 or so yoyos and it had gotten to be a bit of a burden.
The Wooly Markmont was going for over $1k and I refused to spend that on a yoyo. I liked the idea of being able to try any clyw yoyo at any moment but I just never did. I used the same ~15 yoyos.
So I sold a lot of yoyos. I still have too many I think but it’s mostly duplicates. Stuff I always reach for before anything else. I would like to get to around 50 without duplicates but it’s difficult to choose at this point, which I think is a good thing.
So here is what I’m using today. It’s pretty much the same as every day, give or take a few
Mirage '24, Crescendo with some fresh pads, Palpitation ES, Point Breaker, Fractal

I do, especially with the new freehand red pip counterweight, but these are outliers in my collection. Most are not red

My freehand nextgen. Sorry for outburst was my own fault. Just happened at a bad time.
I appreciate it, I shouldn’t have outburst like that, was my own fault. Just a bad time for such things to happen so kinda kickin my own tail over it. It will all even out in the end, I’m sure.

Since my mistake the other day and being down my primary throw, I been carrying the ole fireball around, and I’ve managed to pull off split the atom a few times with it, was quite difficult to do, and I was really proud of myself! happy throws y’all!
