I enjoy my leaf but I feel it was a bit overhyped, especially with those dang snow tires… I’m trying to play them down a bit but I may just cave and try it with summers sometime. Snow tires just stick out way too far on most of their designs and cause a multitude of playability “issues” imo.
I haven’t heard of the Next Journey, is Next the brand?
If the response pads are protruding into the gap, and they don’t just press down all the way, that’s time to just change the response. Getting fed up with protruding pads is why I started siliconing, that’s not a snow-tire specific issue.
It’s just a trait I noticed across most of the CLYW I own, only one that is fine with the Snow Tires is the Beater.
I will have to grab a tube of flowable some time, heck I probably have some in my box. The gasket maker I used last time was not a great choice and it kinda turned me off from the process.
