It’s unique.
Feels very light/agile and being a brand new G2, it’s very smooth and quiet. Combine these and I find myself frequently thinking I need to bind as it seems to be losing speed (I can’t hear it spin and start to lose the feel of it on the string, if that makes sense) and am then shocked at how snappy the response is and how much spin it actually had left (nowhere near actually dying).
My style is much more laid back (i.e. I’m not very good), but I feel like the Rescue could handle some really fast, technical play with ease. Huge gap makes things easier, despite the throw as a whole not being terribly wide.
Really fast, fun, and a lot more capable than it’s looks/specs would have lead me to believe. I also like the feel of the grooves.
Thanks. There’s one for sale on BST that’s really tempting. This doesn’t help. 
Throwing my Ptarmigan prototype 5a style but I didn’t want to damage it so I 3d printed some TPU rubber rim caps to protect it.
Bonus shot with just one rim on. Rims are 0.8 mm thick so aren’t especially noticeable when throwing but sure do quiet the crashes if it hits the floor.
I saw that. Great price on that one too, considering that this model was only available to G2 Patreon members (only 100 total units produced) and won’t be run again outside of their customs program. At least that is my understanding.
Nice throw! How does it play unresponsive?
It’s a Phidias! I really enjoy it, very fun and great at thumb grinds! I like that it’s a 7075, it has a premium touch that you don’t get with 6061. The rounded edges has a really nice feel to the hand, it’s similar to the Confusion and Cenote. The binds are tight and responds very well. I think it’s very underated slimline. I’m also using a Double V bearing from at design lab that pairs nicely with it.

The RIO I like, but the vibration is absolutely insane on mine, like I am fairly sure its a manufacturing issue. MOWL is wonderfullll, iYoYo shooting star was worth the hype for me. Just an all around great throw. These have been my main 3 on re-entry into throwing, but I have more now as well… Still need to post my collection soon!
