That has got to be the first acid wash Loadout I’ve seen with blue as a main color, heck first Loadout at all. You rubbed my wanting spot so bad it hurts, lol

Three DLC woods, Honeycomb and Waffle Stomper
All play like a dream.
The one in the middle is getting majority of the play, it’s made from Arizona Desert Ironwood. Must be something magical in that wood as it’s just impossible to not grab, as much as I love the others.

Desert Ironwood is indeed magical. One of the oldest living tree species, and one of the hardest and most dense woods, with heartwood full of toxic chemicals that make it rot resistant and also give it an assortment of vibrant colors. It’s protected here in AZ and also in neighboring Sonora, and requires a special permit to harvest, sell, or even possess the wood. It also provides the only known habitat for several plant and animal species.

It is very heavy wood, and it takes a certain design to keep the weight comfortable.
This one has the same dimensions as a no jive roughly, but with very concaved sides, and it’s 62 grams.
