bit of a crosspost, but….
been a fat minute since i posted what i’m throwing. the oxygene line has been a significant inspiration in the fair trade yoyos line, including the project y, and more prominently, the pv44. the oxy 5 has been a standout piece, and is likely top three for me for old school throws of that era. to this day the dramatic h-shape of the oxy5, coupled with its maneuverability and outstanding stability makes it a great throw for a variety of play styles. the fty pv44 reflects some of the hard h-shape cuts while still maintaining an organic catch zone and larger diameter. i appreciate all you folks that participated in fty, and hopefully we have some more to come…

I remember my silver Oxi 5!
(It was the most expensive yoyo I bought at the time) It had a gorgeous titanium axle (with rubber washers?) and the yoyo’s gap was adjustable. It was amazing!
So smooth you couldn’t tell if the yoyo was spinning on the other side of the string. It’s one of those yoyos you miss when you no longer have it

I didn’t take part when it was happening, but I’ve gotten one FTY secondhand and it shreds so good.

I was hesitant to try it, but the ol’ bike pump trick worked really well and I am stoked with how they both came out, especially with a yellow string. Thanks for the hookup on the FHZ!

What guts system is that?
My own currently. I need to actually take some recommendations on what setup to use and where to buy in bulk and I can probably batch out a bunch.
That way, people could find replacements easily.
