It just feels magical holding a fat wad like that!!!
I am filled with many emotions lol, I loved that car, but it was time to move on. Time to buy a brass snare drum and a CLYW to make myself feel better, and put the rest into my savings

My condolences on the loss of the WRX. I hope you enjoy your next car. I sold my last WRX in 2020. I owned a few over the years (and one STI). Subaru lost me when they stopped making them in hatchbacks, and I also didn’t like their more recent design choices. Loved the ones I had, such a fun car to drive (and take to the track).

It was a great car, had it for just under 9 yrs, had a lot of fun but did get into some serious trouble with that I’d rather not get into…
I am glad to have had it, I am now driving a TJ wrangler, and a 2000 4Runner. Need a break from fast cars with problems for the sake of the fam.
I am gonna miss the rumble and the turbo noises, but not miss the worry of if it’s about to need an engine.
Edit: or if I’m about to get myself arrested again

Very cool. My STI was of that same gen. It was a 2008. I only modded it lightly (springs, sways, bushings and a stage 1 pro-tune to improve the power band).

Yeah it does. Very light, zippy and enjoyable to play with.
I wouldn’t have even recognized it if you hadn’t said what it was, and it’s one of my favorite yoyos
