Just tossed the Duncan Dice I was using for 5A-May into my celing fan.
Left a nice little chipped blade… glad I already had bought a new fan but hadn’t replaced it yet. Time to get it done before the wife notices

I don’t like it much in general compared to other recent plastics but it’s still a solid yo
Thesis Invictus. Really enjoying this throw. I can’t get over how super similar it is to the Unparalleled Elevation. It feels nearly the same on the string, but catching them is very different. Thesis is very smooth and curvy with a wide catch while the Unparalleled feels more narrow and blocky (no doubt due to the rim design). Both are awesome. Both are polished, but the Thesis is much closer to blasted.
Happy Fixed Axle Friday, no 5A during my walk but I’ll resume learning my 5A basics later.
I need more one handed tricks to practice during the walks besides planet hops, STM, and lunar flips. Anyone?
I don’t know to many 0a single handed tricks but you can try to learn a cool 1a trick called “plastic whip” with an unresponsive throw. there’s a cool 5a trick as well it’s called “gravity whip”. although plastic whip is wayyy easier than gravity whip
I just do some Non-Dominate Hand play with the same trick set. Planet Hops help keep the string tension neutral, but every now and then you have to sidewinder. Remember when throwing left handed tension is getting looser so its a fun exercise of thinking backwards, it also will improve your 2A.
Where did those two colors come from?
thats a solid idea, thank you!
You can do an interrupted plastic whip on a responsive(or just a regular one if you’re clean enough)
Speedaholic XX and Legend Wing. The duck may be a bit too heavy for the wing but is quite pleasant to catch. Additionally, I cut my finger deeper than ever practicing, moisturize your damn hands, or wear a glove, take care of yourself
I’ve been throwing the Atom Smasher. Its a great yoyo. Top stuff @yyfben2.deactivated and @YOHANS
Ditch. Gulch.
I’ve been throwing this Mono from At Design and I really love it.
I was initially sceptical of this Peak inspired yoyo but having spent some time with it, it’s a fantastic throw. I found the edges a little sharp but you just get used to it. The blasted finish feels really nice and is great for finger grinds (do people still like doing those? I do!).
Overall, it’s a really nice throw if you want something like a Peak that isn’t.
Is lunar flip a kick flip done from the lunar landing mount? Because I was thinking that would be cool and have been working on it - wondering if someone had already come up with that. I can’t find any tutorials for it.
