Yep, got a pack of the yellow. I learned about them when they came on my MCMO. Asked Mark about them. Had to have more. Worth the price imo.
Also throwing my Weekender next to my RBC. It’s amazing how far responsives have come. It’s a very close tie between the two. Need to work on my finger spins on the Weekender.

I know it’s Friday and I like getting my fixed fix in, but this thing yearns to be played. So much GD fun.
CLYW Sasquatch 2022, Purple/Silver swap, @BadWolfeCo Thriller Remix Slicc
Need to reorder these strings. I have 3 left in a pouch.
Running errands with my knuckleYo in my pocket. As a roller is quickly becoming my favorite roller, very smooth in the hand and the big ends allow you to grip it a bit easier for thumb flips and other elements i have no name for. NGL the microYo is challenging, but it’s much easier to use (IMO) then the strum Panzer) the width of the knuckleYo gives it a nice about of power and stability. And as a begleri they work great, just weight a bit more then the average pair.
I’m looking forward to getting a KnuckleYo real soon !!! That zipline edition is really calling to me so I might pull the trigger on that one
Was craving a high dose of nostalgia and these fit the bill. Threw 'em all last night and today.
Torrent 2022 and 2nd Run 5 Star (2009).
can you compare centrifugal to flame
Had my eye on that blue-orange fade. Kind of brown in the middle, though. Is that considered a B-grade?
I’ll give that some time today so i can do so for you.
That’s just the light in the picture. It’s actually more green in reality.
Mine was sold as an a grade.
Bit of warning though. While i do love this throw and it’s one of my favorites…
- the bearing was not great and completely ruined after like a month despite me cleaning it.
- the pads just kind of…came off after a few weeks…and again the time after that. After that time i removed everything possible with alcohol and acetone before replacing them a again and they’ve held so far. I’ve heard from other people who own one that they’ve had the same problem.
- the ano inside the overhanging thumb lip came off, just kind of wore off from my thumb nail. Yoyofactory gave me a partial refund for this but I’ve heard it happen with others as well
So i do love this one, it’s super comfortable and an amazing well rounded throw…But possible defects can be expected. But if you can get it for a good (not msrp) price it’s totally worth it.
Thanks. I have literally ONE bimetal that I bought without knowing it is a bimetal … thought they were just polished rims! I’ve avoided bimetal yoyos thus far out of paranoia of one minor ding creating vibe, so the ones where the added metal weight is further away from the rim are comparatively appealing.
For a good budget inner ring throw i can recommend the Aceyo Gravity. I think it’s something like $40-50?
It’s not as wide as the flame but still very good.
I know some folks say that can be a problem with bimetals, and I’m sure it can be, but I’ve never encountered it.
I’ve even whanged my Moebius (brass outer rim bi-metal) off a tile floor hard enough to pop off a rim. After popping it on and giving it a good whack with a book to seat it solidly, it went from 9/10 to maybe 8.5/10. And that’s if I’m being super critical about vibe.
So unless you’re literally just learning and banging the yoyo on everything, I don’t think it’s worth worrying about.
