Well, look at the price! For $16, you’re getting a really great yoyo. I should have ordered one last week, but no, I had to get a Chaser.
PSG’s will be back in stock. I can get one then!
I heard next week. In ordering one, maybe a whole tube. Maybe that would be a good idea for you to Studio42, considering you could go around the whole family with a set
I’d get them for my crew.
Once my kids can bind, that’s a whole new set of “problems” for me! I am considering getting the set.
I’m glad I got my 3a pair when I did then. Phew!

Well the SPYY yoyo is called the Skyy Chaser, so…
Its really cheap for a good plastic yoyo. (I think its plastic) I bought the duncan Butterfly from toys are us. Could barely to a trapeze for 30 seconds.
It looks like a slightly different version of a Yuuki Spencer trick. One he’s been doing since at least '04 or '05. I’m not sure if any tutorials exist.

I didn’t know SPYY had a Chaser. So, obviously then, I got the YYJ Chaser.
Just doing a quick look, it appears the SPYY Sky Chaser is out of stock. I’m sure that will be changed soon!
It’s kind of funny how an inexpensive yoyo flew off the shelves. Well, most likely out of the shipping boxes they arrived in and right into the Priority Mail boxes they went out in. These sold so fast I swear it almost seemed like they were CLYW’s. I wonder if this might mean that YYE and others might be carrying the Sandglass?
These seem to be the hottest plastic right now. Both here and YYBB can’t keep them in stock. It’s gotta be good!!!

Well, the Duncan Butterfly is a solid axle. Now that’s a a cheap(but fun!) plastic yoyo and they don’t get much cheaper yet still remain fun and functional. But to expect to hold a trapeze for 30 seconds is really asking for too much!
There’s lots of other fantastic “cheap plastic yoyos” out there. It looks like the PSG is gonna be the king of that category(Sub-$20) based on what I’m seeing. I’m definitely looking to add this to my collection, along with a few other inexpensive plastics.
Of course the ONE and WHIP are loads of fun, and at $10 nothing can really touch them at that price break, but they are awfully light. Jumping up to the $15+ range, now we start getting better weight and performance. Also, the PSG seems to be getting rave reviews from anyone who has them, including people who really know their stuff. I think the PSG is gonna be a top seller for a while. I think the only two things that will slow sales of this is “not in stock” and “pretty much everyone who wants one has one now”. Not bad for a store to have a product like this. I can’t wait to order one soon. After my events this weekend, I’ll have some funds to blow on yoyos.
It’s a good $16 throw. You just have to not mind if there’s some vibe in your yo-yo.
I think too many people obsess over vibe like it’s an OCD.
Any yoyo can and will vibe. As long as it ain’t out of control, then it’s good.
That’s simply not true by the standards people use to say if a yo-yo “vibes” or not.
And I don’t obsess over vibe but for some people it’s definitely a deal killer. What’s good in your opinion may not be good in another person’s opinion.
I have try one of those, and yes they are awesome for the price.
