I was reading another forum when I came across a post that claimed the “We Are Throwers” Draupnirs are B-grades and weigh 2g more than other Draupnirs. Is this true?

Strangely, I have noticed when playing with other Draupnirs that compared to my own; it kind of feels a little heavier. When I reforge sky we are throwers draupnir, there were no ano flaws nor any vibe whatsoever. It might be a little heavier from the rest of the production line, but we have to keep in mind that this draupnir is a special edition one. Maybe the added wieght was intended.

I don’t have a Draupnir, but I was thinking of getting the We Are Throwers edition, before I read about the apparent B-grade issue.
I was part of this discussion on the other forum. I would like to know the answer to this as well.

can you still pick these up or are they sold out?
It is ~1g heavier and the play difference is minimal, ie not the biggest among two versions
FYI I said they’re basically b-grades, not actually b-grades. Never said they’re bad yoyos, just said that they’re not the same as other Draupnirs and while an extra 1g-2g might not make a difference to some, the entire point of that yoyo to me is how light it is and adding weight defeats the purpose.
They’re not bad yoyos, at all, they’re just not normal Draupnirs. Hate on me if you want, I was just pointing out that YYR wont do a massdrop of Draupnirs because they have no reason to, and citing this along with the +2g Sputniks as to what they might do with not quite the same yoyos that other companies would call b-grades. Not against them re-badging them but labeling them the same is stupid, imo.
As I said, the whole point of Draupnirs is how light they are and on top of that, YYR like to tout how precise they are. Just smacks of fishy to me.
Dude. No one is hating on you or singling you out. All I did was ask a question because I was genuinely surprised about the weight discrepancy. Everyone who replied basically weighed in with their perspectives. Way to be oversensitive here.
I know, I’m not feelin hated on, don’t worry. Just saying I don’t mind being hated on and wanted to clear up what I said and how I feel about the release.
