That picture was taken with a fast shutter speed and a burst function.
Thats a very nice picture Alloria, but perhaps you should try the Macro feature on your camera if it has one. It should be marked with a flower or some floral pattern for vivid close range shots.

She is fiddling with it right now though the problem is our camera is a cheapo $30 Walmart camera 
I’ll definitely relay the message though 
EDIT: Just to answer the possible curiosity factor our camera is a Vivitar ViviCam 7022
