FYI, it’s a yoyo contest too!
We are stoked to announce Motion Yoyo as a Bronze Level sponsor for UYYC! We got throw their new Yoyo from Motion at STL Yoyo Club meet-up. It’s a super dead smooth organic with a slight floatiness to it but also plays like a competition Yoyo. In the picture is Zach Meyer holding the Harmonic in the Wolverine color-way! Also it’s sold out on the website for Motion but YoyoExpert has a shipment of Harmonics so keep checking the YYE site……DONT sleep on this!
Such a good photo!!

Check out this video from the 1st ever Missouri State Yoyo Contest from 2007 when Connor Scholten won 1st place in 1A. He’s really built up a huge amount of wins including winning the 2A National title twice and placed top 10 in the world. It’s with a lot of pride that we announce our 3rd UYYC judge……Mr Connor Scholten! Connor has even judged for the IYYF but will soon be able to add UYYC judge to the list!
is this going to be a competitive 1a contest?
Yes! You can view the schedule and list of divisions on the website. Also we have 4 celebrity judges: John-Bot, Brian Melford, Connor Scholten, and Sebastian Brock! Website is UNITED YOYO
2023 is the reboot of Regionals and The United Yoyo Contest, UYYC! Just a reminder UYYC is the last Yoyo contest before Nationals in Arizona. In addition for the 2023 contest season anyone can sign up to compete in prelims this year at Nationals. Of course you won’t want to miss the opportunity to practice your routine before Nationals which is not the only reason to go to STL. June 10 is also National Iced Tea Day, National Ballpoint Pen Day, and just 4 days after National Yoyo Day; a fantastic way to celebrate at one of the nations best History Museums in the country! It’s with a great honor and respect for the history of Yoyo that we introduce our Silver Sponsor, Duncan Yoyos! See you guys at Nationals if not in St. Louis!

We are thrilled to have as our head judge for the 5th year of UYYC…….Mr. Sebastian Brock! We were so excited when Sebby said he wanted to help reboot UYYC that we immediately started looking for venues. The last event we collaborated on was in 2019; which is wild to think about how long the pandemic has affected our contest culture. Sebby has actually been a UYYC alumni since 2017 after we met at 2016 Nationals. He’s flying all the way from Seattle so when you see him make sure to say hi because the contest weekend always goes by way too fast!
