The Kiwi is modeled after Jason’s previous signature yoyo, the Collapsar, but takes a new approach to the heavyweight design in a mono-metal form. A good 10g heavier than your average yoyo, the Kiwi take a little getting used to, but once you do it is a phenomenal player. It has incredible power and surprisingly easy acceleration and agility for whatever you can throw at it.
At 76g and with very close specs to the bi-metal Collapsar, the Kiwi offers a similar play experience at a much more approachable price. If you’re looking to try out a heavier throw then this is an excellent option!
Same. 76g is quite heavy, though I suppose $90 is a cheaper way to try it than a $200+ Collapsar. Would be interesting to hear someone’s opinion comparing the two since the Collapsar has titanium rings which would help spread the weight out more vs the Kiwi being monometa.
