The Twin Drive Aluminum is a reimagined design of the Original Twin Drive (Titanium) first released back in 2020 but in 7003 aluminum!
The is the ultimate Bi-metal yo-yo because there are Two stainless steel rims (one on the outside for maximum power) and one on the inside for extra stability and cushion.
The Twin Drive Aluminum is slightly smaller than a typical full size metal yoyo, but you will be very surprised at how powerful and easy this throw is to handle!
This seems super cool, did someone tried it or about to try it? Also I did not get why it say “The Twin Drive Aluminum is slightly smaller than a typical full size metal yoyo” it seems to have quite a standard diameter!
Edit: Alberto, I don’t play it a lot because how it feels, kinda has a tingy feel. Doesn’t have that premium feel during play. That feel is important to me. Sorta like a guitar neck that has urethane finish on the neck but when you lightly sand it raw it just feels good. Like well worn leather. But the fit, finish and performance of the Twin Drive is quite good. Difficult for me to put in words.
Never played the aluminum one however the ti version is the number 1 playing yoyo i currently own, one that ill truely never sell
Makes me really wanna try one of these, can anyone compare the two by chance?

No. Announcing my new yoyo, the four wheel drive, with four rims on each side for maximum offroad performance. We beefcaked bearings in the past, yoyos of the future beefcake RIMS.
Now that looks like it would be soft and stable. might need at least 4 more rings to be really premium.

I need something ridiculous like that in my life, with a different material for every rim for no reason. Maybe a candidate for the rain city skills dumpster fire v2 (costs way too much $$$ edition).
I can get behind that idea. Ti outer rings incase you want to spark, two different al rings for show all different ano and a plastic body cause hybrids are cool now I think.
all joking aside the Twin drive looks cool. I imagine it plays similar to a yoyo with a single larger ring but maybe two rings are better? Either way it looks neat and hey isn’t that half the reason we buy a yoyo is cause it looks cool.
Without seeing a cross section it is hard to tell. It seems like this configuration could allow for a weight distribution that would not be possible with a single ring. I.e. more inside weight that is further from the axis.
