I’ve found them in my car console, bottom of my backpack, in my family photos, box of kitchen stuff from the old house, in the couch with loose change, in a box of old tax returns. Ran one through the laundry once. Weirdest was in my fishing tackle box from the mid 90s. I used to like to hold the fishing pole in my left hand while looping with my right. Very meditational.
On a similar note. Years ago, a friend was working at the store packing boxes part time. She told me she had packed so many that she actually had a dream about yo-yos. I responded… Doesn’t everyone dream about yo-yos?
