Today's One Drop haul:

Came home from One Drop with two Vanguards, a Topdeck, and a beautiful swirl anodized Gauntlet in a colorway I’m calling “Swampwater.” (Paul didn’t think that name would sell.) I got to go through the half pieces and pick the exact two I wanted Paul to build up for me.

Also had swirled Rebirths in a beautiful brown, blue, silver pattern. It was really hard not to come home with one.

Saw the 2016 Benchmark prototypes and got to throw the new delrin Cabal prototype. (Think that’s the name.) Definitely going to pick one of them up when they’re ready.

It’s amazing I came home with any money in my pocket at all…

Ha! “Swampwater.” I like it! This is one of those Rebirths:

OMG that Swampwater is literally my life right now

Should be boxed and shipped to retailers soon according to Paul.

Wow. Those look wicked! Nice haul!

That Gauntlet! :o

DAT TOPDECK! :o :o

It’s all too much. I feel light headed…

Seriously, that purple on that topdeck is unreal. Add that to the hype that it’s been getting from those that have played it and I feel like a crazed shopper squashed against the front doors of Target on Black Friday. :stuck_out_tongue:

Much Onedrop. Such yoyo.

Now I just need to learn to use them to their full potential. All these beautiful throws and I feel like a poser. Guess we all gotta start somewhere though…

(The purple really IS beautiful.)

You think YYE is going to get all the color ways on the first release, or will it be all solids to start off? I want to get one of those cool new color ways, but I don’t know if I can wait too long past the release date.

You sound like most of us, needing to improve skills to match the amazing yoyos we own. I don’t think it is being a poser, it is just someone who is aware of their actual skill level, and has the disposable income to purchase nice toys. Many pros have demonstrated no one needs an expensive yoyo to hit amazing tricks (Gentry winning Nationals with a Replay Pro, Eric Koloski also doing more with a Replay than I could do with a yoyo that cost 20x more). However, I do enjoy supporting the yoyo industry and encouraging companies to keep coming up with new designs and trying new materials/combinations of materials.

Enjoy your new One Drops. I can already hear the Siren Song of the Top Deck and Gauntlet calling my wallet…

Boy do I relate to that. I wish I was good enough to deserve throws like this.

I have to go practice, see you later.

All of those yoyos look SWEET!

maybe we need a ‘marketing spin’ on the name Swampwater…how about Marsh Madness or Bayou Blast?

I vote for calling it: Boggy Creek 8)

Now we’re talking! I think we need to fit the word ‘Dank’ in there somehow…

How about ‘Dank Valley’? It sounds dank. :stuck_out_tongue:

^Truth. I try not to collect things, but I make an exception for One Drop YoYos, even though I’m not that good yet. They’re functional pieces of art that show the skill of the craftsmen who design and produce them. I like supporting US companies, especially those based in Oregon. Nice throws give me some extra motivation to practice, and I focus on having fun using them, rather than my mediocrity.

I say buy YoYos and enjoy them, whatever that means to you.

They are definitely works of art and I love supporting One Drop. Paul Dang made customers for life out of us when he got down on a knee to teach my boys how to bind.

What a guy. Very cool!

Nice score! Must have. I like dank valley and swamp water, also, swamp gas? Ha.

I want them all… Man, just when I thought my collection was reaching completion. Onedrop <3

Side note. Smacked myself in the face for the second time with Citizen yesterday… And again it drew blood… That sucker is mean. I don’t think this time I will have a scar… Bummer… The first one, cut down side of my nose, gave my face character 8)

Oops, I did it again. Took a “detour” to Eugene on my way to Corvallis. That Rebirth was calling out to me, and David made me take the Cascade home (really!). AND David said that once I get a yoyo club up and running at the high school I teach at, he would love to throw some yoyos our way. One Drop customer/supporter for life now. I love supporting this company and all that they do.

Wow. The ano on the rebirth is soooo sick.
