I’m pretty happy with this all. I wish the Northstar was blue, but what can you do? I’ve always thought about Winstonizing a NS like in the YYF East Coast Tour videos. I was seconds away from getting an orange one on a visit to Air Traffic in MN when I visited a friend. I can say it is the best plastic I’ve ever thrown, excluding my delrin.

I’m very pleased with my package. I wish I would of refrained from checking out this thread before hand though…I would of been more excited opening it if I hadn’t.
The Northstar is hands down the best plastic I have played; it beats out my delrin’s, protostar, and modded FHZ’s. YYF makes the best plastics on the market no doubt…I even prefer my V3 Velocity over most other plastics.
The wooden yoyo is a lot better than I imagine as well. I love the feel of the wood. I played with it more than anything else I received in the box.
Getting a full pack of cards was a great deal sweetener. I guess I’m one of the few who got it this year…last year everyone got a set. I feel overwhelmed now though…I almost have 2 complete sets.
If anyone needs any cards let me know.
Last but certainly not least…the 401. Rather than getting a Silver, Red splash 401 I ended up with a pinkish / rose colored 401. I love it. The slim profile is excellent for daily carry and the adjustable response is great. Time to put away my Velocity and carry the 401 around for now. Although it’d be a shame to see it get damaged. One of the first yoyo’s I actually care about keeping in good condition.

Thanks man. I’m pretty happy. I would have never purchased or traded for a 401 (Adjust O Matic) under normal conditions…but I have to say it is easily my favorite daily carry. I’ve been playing it responsive all day.

I know how nerve racking the wait is.
It wouldn’t bother me so bad if another order that was placed later the same day addressed to the same residence hadn’t have gotten here on Monday right on time. And I know it doesn’t really mean much anything but the tracking hasn’t updated either.
EDIT: I guess there was actually some movement but my stupid USPS app just doesn’t feel like updating. It was in Texas yesterday???
Man…that sucks. Luckily my tracking info was kept up to date. I got my box when I came home from work but put off opening it for 5 hours cause I had to go grocery shopping, eat out, and take my daughter to an appointment.
My daughter loves when I get packages…she roots through them and takes the yoyo’s that I want to play with haha.
She was fond of the Northstar and the Supernova I got a few days ago. Lately she’s been stealing my Knuckles figure and hiding it on me as well.
Gotta love her.
I’m waiting for someone to get some ridiculous mystery box full of swag. I honestly thought I’d get a box full of stickers or some bull. I was honestly disappointed when I pulled out the Adjust-o-matic and not a 2.0…until I threw it a while. I wouldn’t of wanted anything else.
Maybe the Red and Silver splash version…the Rose is gorgeous looking but…it’s pink so… well…whatever.
My friend who im teaching how to yoyo got a pack and shared it with another kid that im teaching. Anyways, im gonna demand some longstring ;D
