The Ti-Vayder Experience

There were some big storms down there and a lot of flooding, so shipping got delayed.

Care to share an update on stock for all three? Kind of curious how unnecessary it was to jump on that immediate order train, lol.

Only 12 raw left. I’m not really sure why raw is selling so well, it’s IMO by far the most boring titanium “colorway”. I mean, if you’ve seen one raw titanium you have literally seen them all

I would have gone raw, but I have a raw Richardrunner, so I figured I’d Branch out

Plenty of grey and black left, and IMO they are much more striking and beautiful in person than raw. Just sayin’

Huge fan of the black. I’m super surprised the grey isn’t the top seller though after seeing the revised color of it.

Makes me wish I had gotten a grey one!

Remember that we made a certain allocation based on the original poll in the first post

I’d say black is slightly underperforming, raw is slightly overperforming, but grey is doing about as expected considering we made the most of those.

p.s. the black is REALLY cool. It does look like Vader’s helmet. It’s quite spiffy. :black_circle:

With raw there’s no anodization to mess up!

I went with raw with the intention of torching it eventually. Figured i couldn’t torch if they had anno on them

I got the raw because:
A. More limited
B. Highest chance of a desirable number
C. I’m holding out hope that one of the well known anodizers will do a batch of customs

I have an un-engraved grey that is incredibly beautiful and that’s the one I play now, normally I’d keep something like that under glass but I just couldn’t help myself. When I ordered raw I figured unless I get an ultra desirable number that’ll be the one I play and the grey will get cleaned and stowed away. Then 69 arrived and I’m leaving that one unplayed.

I’m waiting on some $ to bag a black one and that’ll complete my set. Thankfully they’re still available.

I usually prefer raw over anodized/coated titaniums. If you scuff/scratch/spark a titanium you can just polish it out for the most part. Can’t polish the gray/black versions and scratches will be way more prominent.

I still kinda wish I was able to afford one. It is the epitome of ‘H’ shape yoyo after all

There is one for sale on the reddit b/s/t for $130 right now if that helps.

And one on fb for $120

If you can, I’d recommend getting one second hand. The cost of the import duty is a killer for us UK folk.

Also, ask them to send it stating the value is low.

I eel a little burnt on ordering from the US simply on account of getting hit with import taxes. I knwo it is something to expect as it might happen but when you don’t have a massive budget it is a big kick in the teeth. I think I am going to take a break from buying yoyos now anyway, perhaps I will get a wooden fixed axle and take a break from buying for a while!

Yeah man, I know what you mean. I am from Spain(EU also) and it is a pain not being able to buy some throws due to taxes. However there are lot of EU shops where you do not have to pay taxes
