The Ti-Vayder Experience

Mine got responsive the other day too. It happens to me pretty often though, I blame my cats. They shed like crazy this time of year. One cat hair in there turns that puppy responsive real quick.

My bearing was also bad

I can’t speak to the quality of the stock bearings since I immediately put Boss Rage bearings in mine. But I have to believe that a good cleaning–and maybe a bit of lube–would get them working nicely again.

Been playing mine hard all week, finally just wore out the first stock blue YYSL string. Did a few drops of Dark Matter out of the box. Super smooth and quiet on my end. I haven’t had any issues, the Vayder is awesome.

This is an interesting addition to the discussion on what bearing One Drops should ship with. I don’t think it came up in that thread that there are people who swap the stock nudging bearing for another because of a preferred brand or type. In my mind this supports what we say which is players are going to use their preferred bearing no matter which one you ship with.

And when 10 ball flats are the best anyways, why ship with anything else?

There is no best - Just preference.

No need to be modest!

There seems to be some variance in the bearings, I am guessing due to varying levels of factory lube?

I do prefer a quiet lubed bearing but I can see the value of totally dry / acetone cleaned for reducing the amount of potential customer support.

Mine are both great. The one spins to quiet, that when it slows down a little I can’t hear a thing. Hard to judge spin speed without a splash, but just how I like it. Ill probably throw a different bearing once this one needs a cleaning. I dont like to open up a new yoyo until it has to be done. Going to put in a grooved bearing since the response is a bit too grabby imo.

I got 22 on opening day, and 292 was just delivered.
Both are smooth, but the 22 had a quiet bearing and the new one is loud

Having just tested 61 new yoyos myself, from the same shop - most of them stayed quiet during testing, but 2 of them started quiet but then got loud midway through my test combo, possibly due to some pre-existing bearing problem?
