Hmmm…I prefer more “fact based” clues, because if you don’t know them, you might be able to look them up…or you might learn something from the clue. Clever ones are…clever, in that they are impressive to come up with, but they often stall the game. You have a point that if the yo-yo is well known, it should be figured out fairly quickly. But, not always. I do much better with fact based, and tend to give fact based…mostly. I think it is the diversity of clue givers that will give the game balance. Perhaps it is a healthy mix of it all. Until…we run out of yo-yos
Problem so far is that a few people have been anxious to give clues and not let the last clues run their course for a bit. It was a fun day though.
This will indeed be the last one of the night, and I’ll try to make it hard:
1-I am ugly looking and someone might see me and reming old music discs
2-I’m made of a single material while my competitors wear rings
3-My brothers are way richer than I am
Thanks. I don’t mind them hard, as long as people stick around to tell us what it was. That is definitely not a looker though…yikes!! Goodnight Felipe.
Yeah…not on topic, but wow. That’s kind of unfortunate given the relative beauty of the Rally, which I assume is a direct competitor price-wise…I always sort of worried about CLYW “diluting” their high-end image with a plastic and I kinda, sorta think this throw’s doing just that. Anyhow…
I’m small and fast
I hate the Mods (not those mods!)
I frequent small restaurants in Oregon
No such thing as that as long as it’s a good performer, which it clearly is. They also said that only the first run will be this ugly, they’re in search for a new material that can be dyed, a lot of research and development went into making this beast.
I myself like it ugly, I would beat the crap out of that yoyo without even a second thought.
I just tend to think that CLYW’s unique popularity is at least partially predicated on having a certain image that goes beyond whether or not the throws play well, and I think there’s lots of evidence for it. I doubt this yoyo will “ruin” anything for them, but I just don’t see how moves like this are really on message. I say stick to selling the high end “lust” throws and keep your brand lust-worthy, they do very well with that.
Am I the only one that doesn’t think It’s ugly? Having used it in real life I can say pictures don’t do it jus
Twice. I think it’s a very nice looking yoyo.
